Two minutes from the Tower Hill Tube station,
Grange City Hotel
(8 – 14, Coopers Row) has the Tower of London and Tower Bridge just at hand, as well as a spectacular vista over the Thames (if you’re a bit lucky and have a room with the view).
As for this 5 star hotel itself, it’s elegantly decorated, with a bit of art deco feel. Although it doesn’t have the opulence of the Ritz or Savoy, it’s a good value for money, and has the amenities that you would expect from a 5 star hotel, such as spa, 25 metres pool, gym, Jacuzzi, steam, sauna and aromatherapy rooms.
And even a tad more. If you’re a female, and by some reasons
the mere thought of spending a night in the close proximity of… oh my… men makes you feel uneasy, you can book a room in a women-only wing. The so-called women-friendly room goes with such security touches like spy hole and door latch, but most importantly it has extra-large wardrobes, hairdryers with long cord and, yahoo, make-up mirrors. Girls’ power? Yeahhh!
