Grange St Paul’s Hotel (10, Godliman Street) is as smart and comfortable as its chain brother Grange City Hotel, but style wise is on a more modern scale. 
The rooms are airy enough (even by London standards), and the bathrooms are of very decent size, with Molton & Brown goodies as complementary touch. This Grange Hotel is right next door to St Paul’s cathedral, and has a lot of sights (Tate Modern, Globe Theatre etc.) nearby. Even West End and Oxford Street are in achievable walking distance.
Swing into eccentric “Bea’s of Bloomsbury” at One New Change for a cuppa of afternoon tea or coffee. The teapot-shaped lights make an inadvertent smile, and scones, cupcakes, brownies and biscuits, that are in abundance there, are just moreish.
